Editorial Policy

How WebFixary researches, reviews, updates, and corrects technical troubleshooting guides.

Accuracy before volume

WebFixary publishes troubleshooting material only when it can state the problem, scope, risks, and verification steps precisely. Draft status is not a publishing queue: an article remains private until it is ready.

Sources and verification

  • Primary product documentation is preferred for configuration and behavior claims.
  • Tested steps and plausible diagnostic steps are identified differently.
  • Version-sensitive guides record a verification date when a real check has occurred.
  • Sources are linked so readers can inspect the underlying documentation.

Safety and reversibility

Changes that can cause downtime or data loss must explain prerequisites, backups, and rollback. When a step requires server, database, or DNS access beyond a reader’s experience, the guide should say when to stop and ask a qualified host or developer for help.

Corrections and updates

Material corrections should update the page date and, where useful, explain what changed. A stale guide can be revised, redirected, or removed rather than left public with instructions that no longer apply.

Commercial transparency

WebFixary does not currently publish paid placements or undisclosed endorsements. If affiliate links or sponsorships are introduced, they will be clearly labeled and will not determine the technical conclusion of a guide.
